CHPAC Volunteer Ambassadors’ Club
Hospital Volunteers Taking An Active Role In Solving Issues Affecting Hospital Communities

The California Hospital Association Political Action Committee has formed a Volunteer Ambassadors’ Club to allow hospital volunteers to take an active role in solving issues affecting hospital communities.

The club membership, available for only $100, will be active for one year from the date of joining. The club offers many benefits, including special members-only events.

The prestigious CHPAC Volunteer Ambassadors’ Club consists of hospital volunteers who want to be a constant and consistent participant in the issues surrounding hospitals.

Club Benefits

  • A specially designed CHPAC Volunteer Ambassadors’ Club lapel pin.
  • Free admittance to most CHPAC Presidents’ Club events.
  • Members may bring a guest, free of charge, to one CHPAC Presidents’ Club event of their choice.

2015 Traditional Excellence Program Award Winner

The Traditional Excellence Program Award recognizes a seasoned, traditional volunteer program that has undergone a modification or was given a new twist by a Director of Volunteer Services, manager or coordinator, that resulted in achieving exemplary results, and has demonstrated substantial benefit to the recipients, to the health care organization, and to the volunteer(s) providing the service.  At their September 2015 conference, AHVRP honored Avi E. Zaraya, Managing Director, Support Services, Kaiser Permanente/Woodland Hills for his Paws of Love Program.
