Valerie Sanders has been with Kaiser Permanente for 13 years and currently serves as a Coordinator of Volunteer Services at Kaiser Permanente, South Sacramento.   In this role Valerie works closely with the community, local school districts and volunteers to help build a better community. She partnered with the hospital Chaplain to develop the No One Dies Alone program. She is a member of the Chaplains Advisory Council, the Caring Council and the Diversity Council.  Valerie earned her Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA) in 2013.  She is a member of Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) and Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (AHVRP).

Valerie has a passion for working with volunteers and is a volunteer herself. She is a member of Eastern Star where the core values include Friendship, Community Service, and Diversity. Valerie participates annually in “Relay for Life” representing Eastern Star.
