Susana Gantan, MPH
Project Leader, Children's Hospital Los Angeles

Susan Gantan currently serves as Project Leader in the Office of Government and Public Policy and Community Affairs at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), implementing the hospital’s Community Health Needs Assessment and initiatives focusing on community benefit and government/community relations. Ms. Gantan previously served as Senior Health Education Services Coordinator for CHLA’s Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, managing its HOPE Resource Center, writing and implementing grants to increase educational resources for patients, families, providers, and the community. Before arriving at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ms. Gantan served in several public health settings predominantly focusing on maternal and child health issues, program evaluation and materials development throughout California. Ms. Gantan has been at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 2002.

Ms. Gantan holds a Masters in Public Health, Community Health Studies from San Jose State University and a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
