Lillian Reyes-Maples, CAVS
Director of Volunteer Services, Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, California

Lillian Reyes-Maples has been the Director of Volunteer Services at Riverside Community Hospital for 15 years, and has more than 32 years of experience in healthcare.  She is a University of Redlands graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  Lillian was awarded the Southern California Association of Directors of Volunteer Services (SCADVS) Professional Development Award in 1999, 2002 and 2004.  She is active in SCADVS, where she served as president, and with the Association of Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (AHVRP), where she became a Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services (CAVS).  Lillian also served on the California Association of Hospitals and Health Systems Directors’ Coordinating Council and was Chair in 2008.  Most recently she is the Director of Volunteer Services Advisor with Southern Inland Council where she has been instrumental in restructuring the organization from a non-profit organization to an advisory council.

Lillian is married with four children and 13 grandchildren.  She enjoys antiquing (collects antique sewing machines) traveling and dining out.  Her hobbies include sewing, quilting, gardening and photography.
