Profile

Kathy Clark
Volunteer Program Manager, California Transplant Donor Network

After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in psychology, Kathy Clark became involved in organ donation after her best friend in college donated one of her kidneys to her dad in the late 1980’s. She volunteered with the Central Kentucky Kidney Foundation because of the impact that it made on her.

Shortly after moving to California, Kathy’s own liver suddenly failed without warning. Following her liver transplant she became a volunteer at the California Transplant Donor Network (CTDN) to give back for the gift that she was given.

In December of 2009 she became the Volunteer Program Manager at CTDN. She is honored to work with volunteers to help make a difference so more people receive the “gift of life.”

Kathy currently serves on the Donate Life America Advisory Council and is the chair of the Donate Life America Volunteer Committee.
