Jennifer Doyle
Manager, Volunteer Resources, Nanaimo Regional General Hospital

Jennifer Doyle is a healthcare management professional with Island Health and leads a team of over 400 volunteers at an acute care hospital, long term care facility and local health unit. Jennifer is an innovative leader and enthusiastic team builder with International Volunteer program presentation experience. Jennifer most recently presented at the IAVE World Volunteer Conference in Augsburg Germany in October 2018.

She studied Education at the University of Victoria and Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She then furthered her education studying Orthotics and Prosthetics at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto and Business at British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Jennifer has a background managing Volunteers for various programs. Jennifer is a certified personal trainer and has worked with Paralympic Athletes as a trainer, sports assistant and care attendant. Jennifer also managed an Outdoor Adventure Centre where she developed strong community relations and delivered incredible risk management and guest service. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and three kids, skiing, snorkeling and reading thriller novels. This past year she travelled to Australia, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Germany and the Caribbean.
