Jannon Quintero

Jannon Quintero is a retired elementary school teacher (standard elementary language development specialist).  During her 31 year career, she served as a Mentor teacher, Teachers’ Association President, and a trainer for Thinking Maps and Thinking Maps Writing.  She was a proud recipient of the Harden Teaching Excellence award.

Jan has been a Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Service League Volunteer since 2010 and has given over 1,500 hours of service.  She has been a Service League Board member for most of those years, as the Coordinator of Community Services and now as Secretary.

Jan’s commitment to teaching has been an asset to the Museum Tour Program at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and she was instrumental in developing the House Calls program in which volunteers take museum lessons into the schools that are unable to schedule field trips to the hospital.
