Fr. Calin Tamiian, MA, BCC

Fr. Calin Tamiian is the Manager of the Spiritual Care Department at Dignity Health, St. John’s Hospitals in Ventura County. An Eastern Catholic clergy and a board certified chaplain, he is involved in pastoral and educational activities as part of the healing ministry of Jesus. An active contributor of the movement on the importance of palliative care and the role that spirituality plays at the end of life, he ministers as a hospital and community chaplain.

Areas of expertize are spirituality, ecumenism and ethics in the clinical setting.  Graduate work accomplished with a degree in theology during his formation in Romania as well as post graduate work with the Language and Catechetical Institute, Austria and the University of Paris. He holds a Masters in Pastoral Theology from the University of Dallas and he is a board certified chaplain with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains since 2003.
