California Telemedicine & eHealth Center

California Telemedicine & eHealth Center (CTEC) is a statewide resource center focused on developing the telemedicine and eHealth technological expertise of California health care organizations and providers through capacity building, training, education, networking and re-granting for rural eHealth networks. A program within CHFT, CTEC was created in 1997, CTEC has facilitated the expansion of telemedicine and eHealth in California by working collaboratively with clinics, hospitals, major funders, county, state and federal agencies, legislative policy-makers, community-based organizations, and other nonprofit entities throughout the state. CTEC is supported by a grant from the federal Office for the Advancement of Telemedicine and The California Endowment.
