Avi E. Zaraya, MBA

Avi Zaraya received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biopsychology/Pre-Med from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.  Throughout his tenure, Avi has served as an Intern, Volunteer, Teen Volunteer Coordinator, and Director of Volunteer and Chaplain Services where he embraced a global and diverse outlook towards re-designing the channels that transform the leadership role and volunteer immersion into any sector or industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Medical Center & Area Administrator for Support Services at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center and as Founder of Human Design Consultancy, Avi brings an extensive background in business operations, motivational speaking, performance improvement, volunteer leadership, management and deployment as well as human design and human capital investment. Avi’s works have awarded him the Ritz E. Heerman Memorial Award from the California Hospital Association, the Hospital Hero Award from the National Health Foundation, Traditional Excellence Program Award from AHVRP, and a seat as Professional Volunteer Leader Chair for the California Hospital Association in efforts to empower the volunteer sector to become a think tank of innovation that is more deeply involved in organizational strategic outlook and transformations, social determinants and population health, and community integration.
