Adam Richards is the Emergency Preparedness Planner at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

In his role, Adam works to ensure Los Angeles Medical Center is prepared for any type of emergency/ disaster, large or small. Adam works with stakeholders both internally and externally to build partnerships and preparedness for not only Kaiser Permanente but the entire community. Adam is the Disaster Resource Center Coordinator for Los Angeles County Region I and works with all healthcare provider types to assist and coordinate a comprehensive Emergency Management program throughout the region.

Adam has been with Kaiser Permanente since November 2016. Prior to Kaiser Permanente Adam was the Paramedic Coordinator for an EMS provider in Los Angeles County. Adam earned a Bachelors Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University in 2014.
