What health services does governor want to cut?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s proposed health cuts: $750 million from state Medi-Cal spending by giving the administration broad authority to limit services and benefits and to increase co-payments and premiums. The state has not yet developed details of the proposal. $117.7 million from Medi-Cal by eliminating most services for recently arrived legal immigrants (5 years or less). Emergency services, prenatal care, state-only breast and cervical cancer treatment, long-term care and tuberculosis services are excluded from this proposal.
