San Francisco Business Times

Verity Health System, which owns the former Daughters of Charity Health System hospitals, has hired Andrei Soran as president and COO, as it struggles to reach profitability. The appointment took effect April 18. Soran had been chief operating officer and executive vice president at Detroit Medical Center, part of for-profit Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC).
