UC Davis researchers get almost $4M in stem cell technology grants

Two University of California Davis researchers were awarded more than $1.8 million each in new grant funding to continue their work on tools that enable doctors to assess the effectiveness of stem cell therapies. The two local awards are part of almost $30 million in three-year “tools and technologies” grants awarded Thursday by the state stem cell agency, the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine.
