Task force looks at new ways to change adult behaviors

Numerous agencies both inside and outside Siskiyou County combined their resources and worked together to bring a free training event called “Effecting Change through the Use of Motivational Interviewing” to over 100 primarily local employees in various lines of work. The training, which took place on May 9 and 10, was made possible by funding from Blue Shield of California Foundation, Siskiyou Community Corrections Partnership and the Behavioral Health division of the Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency and was cochaired by Sarah Collard, director of Siskiyou County Behavioral Health and Paulette Adams, director of Clinics for Fairchild Medical Center.
