St. Mary nurses to get 19 percent raise
Victorville Daily Press

Nurses voted to overwhelmingly approve a new contract with St. Mary Medical Center, agreeing on a three-year deal that will boost pay by at least 19 percent when the contract expires at the end of 2012.

The agreement ends more than a year of sometimes contentious negotiations between hospital officials and the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee, Lead Labor Representative Pete Castelli said. He said the final pact benefited nurses, patients and the hospital.
