Scrambling for new enrollees, Obamacare exchange launches $29 million ad campaign

Covered California, the Obamacare exchange in California that’s scrambling to sign up more uninsured Golden State residents, is launching a new $29 million ad campaign.

The new TV ads will begin airing Monday and include spots in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Vietnamese. Click here to see videos of selected ads.

The campaign will also feature radio, print, direct mail, digital, social media, transit shelter and billboard ads aimed at various constituencies. Among them: the African-American community, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Californians, Hispanics and Asian-Americans.
