San Gorgonio Memorial hospital has history, important role

A hospital established in 1951 as a living memorial to veterans who died during World War I and World War II continues to grow and change — just like the community it serves.

The San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital was officially dedicated in March 1951. At the time of the dedication, the 30,000 square-foot hospital included 34 medical and surgical beds and 10 maternity beds.
