No-cost mammogram program at SV Hospital
Sonoma Valley Sun

Sonoma Valley Hospital’s Women’s Health Center is offering no-cost mammograms for uninsured and underinsured Sonoma Valley women over the age of 40 during October. The screening program, known as Project Pink, is made available as a community service through a special grant from the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation. “Early detection is key to survival rates,” said Selma Blanusa, Foundation Executive Director. “The American Cancer Society recommends that women over 40 have a mammogram every year, and we want to help ensure that women in Sonoma have access to this important screening.”
