New Willits hospital wins top hospital project award
North Bay Business Journal

The new $64 million Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital opened Oct. 29, 2015, replacing the hospital of the same name built in 1928. Not only is the hospital more than double the size — with 74,000 square feet of space — but also it offers 25 all private rooms, including 21 medical–surgical beds, each with its own private bathroom, and four intensive care unit (ICU) beds. The new acute care, critical access hospital located at 1 Marcela Dr. was built from the ground up to incorporate the latest technology in healthcare design, delivering an experience that is less intimidating and more comfortable.
