Job outlook bright for the Modesto hospital workers that are being let go
ABC News

A business and employment promotion organization in Modesto painted a bright picture Thursday for people losing work at Memorial Medical Center.

Memorial announced on Monday nearly 100 jobs would be cut. Those positions were in non-medical areas of the hospital like housekeeping and food service.

“If you’re going to lose a job, you want a vibrant economy. Our economy is better now than since 2006, 2005. That’s a good thing. Many of these employees will be able to find good jobs,” said David White of the Stanislaus Business Alliance.
