T.O. hospital earns ‘A’ for patient safety
Thousand Oaks Acorn

The independent, nonprofit hospital watchdog The Leapfrog Group, which gives letter grades to hospitals to rate them on errors, injuries, accidents and infections, awarded an “A” rating to the 400-bed Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks. This is the fifth consecutive “A” rating for the hospital. The Hospital Safety Score is the gold standard rating for patient safety, compiled under the guidance of patient safety experts and administered by The Leapfrog Group. The only hospital safety rating to be peer-reviewed in the Journal of Patient Safety, the Hospital Safety Score is free to the public and designed to give consumers information they can use in making decisions when facing a hospital stay.
