HealthCare.gov ends Obamacare enrollment period as it began – with glitches
Sacramento Business Journal

HealthCare.gov ended its first enrollment period just like it began — with technical glitches that kept people from using the site to enroll for health insurance.

The federal insurance exchange was offline a few hours Monday morning as repairs were made to a software bug. By Monday afternoon, more than 100,000 people were using the site at one time, and the site couldn’t handle this volume. As a result, new users couldn’t create accounts. That’s a problem since the deadline for enrolling for Obamacare for this year is midnight Monday. HealthCare.gov’s tech team went to work on fixing the problem, but good thing all you have to do is swear you tried to enroll today!
