Ninety teachers, administrators and counselors from Tulare and Kings counties attended the Healthcare Industry Summit, learning first-hand what students must do to be ready for jobs in the health industry.

The summit, hosted by the Tulare County Office of Education, also included tours of work sites at Kaweah Delta Medical Center, Sierra View District Hospital, Tulare Regional Medical Center, Family HealthCare Network and the Tulare County Department of Public Health.

“Those are the agencies that provide health care,” said Kris Costa, Pathways Engagement manager. “Each had multiple representatives.”
