Health care ‘temper tantrum’ could punish GOP: Our view

So far, the repeated attempts to overturn ObamaCare haven’t done much real harm beyond wasting time. The principled two-year legal campaign to have the Supreme Court strike down the law proved futile. And the 40 votes in the House to repeal all or parts of the health reform law, mostly recently last week, merely chewed up valuable hours lawmakers could have put to better use. But now, with the new health insurance exchanges about to open Oct. 1, ObamaCare’s most diehard opponents are escalating their tactics in a dangerous way.
