Since California is the size of a small country, the impact of the federal reform will be enormous. “We have more workers who are uninsured, we have more people who are low-wage workers who need subsidies to afford coverage,” health care adovocate Anthony Wright said. Wright, who’s with Health Access, has been closely tracking the legislation, which he said is designed to expand coverage for the 12 million who don’t have insurance and improve coverage for those who do.
