Health care charges, hospital costs examined at Sacramento briefing

One of the conundrums of paying for health care is we never quite know how much medical services will cost us until it’s too late to figure out what we can afford. (Though we do know that a day in the hospital – $4,000 to $5,000 on average – costs much more than staying at a luxury hotel.)
