Feds expect smoother ACA tax season

There’s a little less than a month for Americans to turn in their tax forms to the federal government, and officials anticipate less confusion this year around the Affordable Care Act’s individual reporting requirements.This year’s tax season, which covers income and health coverage from 2015, is only the second in which the ACA’s marketplaces have overlapped with tax returns. People who bought health plans on the federal or state marketplaces and collected premium subsidies receive tax forms, called 1095-As, that explain their personal situations.
