Sacramento Business Journal

Service Employees International Union—United Healthcare Workers West reached a tentative agreement with Dignity Health early Friday morning, averting a three-day strike that was set to begin at 11 p.m. Tuesday. A ratification vote by the membership is expected next week. The four-year agreement maintains benefits, including fully paid family health coverage. The agreement covers 14,000 workers in 31 facilities across the state, including 3,500 at five hospitals in the Sacramento region.
