Covered California, the state health exchange set up under President Barack Obama’s health care law, has enrolled 156,143 people to date, with one-third of the sign-ups coming in the first week of December, officials announced Thursday. “That momentum is not stopping,” said Peter V. Lee, executive director of the state’s health exchange. “It’s building.” In October, 30,830 people enrolled, according to the exchange’s initial report. For all of October and November, 109,296 people signed up.
