Covered California made a liar out of me
San Francisco Chronicle

The problems at Covered California roll on. The latest centers on the exchange’s inability – or unwillingness – to promptly correct errors on consumer applications stored within its system. The failure of Covered California to make such corrections places the consumer at risk for investigations should the information not match what previously has been disclosed to the IRS, an insurer or other agency.

When someone applies through Covered California for medical insurance, he or she is doing so under penalty of perjury – your signature affirms the truthfulness of your answers; you further pledge to notify the exchange should you discover inaccuracies on your application.
