Covered California to hire 350 workers as March 31 deadline looms
San Francisco Business Times

Covered California, the Golden State’s Obamacare exchange, plans to add 350 service representatives by month-end, including 250 who have begun training, officials said Feb. 10. The 250 trainees, who are being educated in the ways of the Affordable Care Act at Covered California’s Fresno Service Center, include 28 who are Spanish speakers, the exchange said. It has come under heavy fire for its inability so far to attract Spanish speakers and other Hispanics to the exchange in numbers equivalent to their significant presence in the state’s population.
