Covered California deadline still Monday

Amid a flood of applications, the state’s health insurance exchange said Wednesday it would give residents an extra two weeks to finish applying for insurance, as long as they start enrolling by midnight Monday. Covered California’s softened deadline followed the Obama Administration’s announcement Tuesday that it would allow consumers using the federal insurance marketplace in three dozen states to finish enrolling after the March 31 cutoff date.
