San Francisco Business Times

The California Wellness Foundation announced nearly $7 million in grants Wednesday, with roughly 75 percent going to Southern California grantees. Forty-five entities statewide won grants from the Woodland Hills-based foundation. The nonprofit has eight priorities: Diversity in the health professions, environmental health, healthy aging, mental health, teenage pregnancy prevention, violence prevention, women’s health, and work and health, but it also “responds to timely issues and special projects” that don’t fit those categories.
