California sees increase in young adult Obamacare enrollees
Orange County Register

Covered California, the state’s Obamacare exchange, said Thursday that more than 425,000 new consumers enrolled in a health plan – including a growing number of young adults – during open enrollment for 2016.

The deadline to sign up for coverage or pay a penalty was Jan. 31, but Peter Lee, executive director of Covered California, said if consumers started the process before then, they have until midnight Saturday to finish.
