California flu death toll up to 332, but on decline

Flu deaths continue in California, where the total since the start of the flu season is up to 332. State health officials have confirmed a total of 14 new deaths since previous data was released March 7. Seven were children. Another 19 deaths remain under investigation. The number of new cases continues to decline, however. There were 16 last week, 24 the week before and 35 the week before that, according to figures from the California Department of Public Health.
