Bill calls for mammogram clinics’ glitches to be posted

California diagnostic centers that perform mammograms will be required to publicly post violations stemming from mechanical mishaps or negligence in reading the tests under new legislation that goes into effect Friday. The South Bay lawmaker who pushed the bill, signed into law by the governor this summer, hopes to empower more women to make choices about where they get these tests.
