Attorneys general see court likely to rule it has jurisdiction

Two state attorneys general said the first day of the Supreme Court’s oral arguments about the 2010 healthcare law signaled the high court is likely to conclude it has jurisdiction to decide the case, rather than waiting until the law is implemented.

Late Monday morning, the area outside the Supreme Court was crowded with reporters, attorneys, physicians, some lawmakers and patients’ rights groups immediately following the first set of oral arguments, which centered on the Anti-injunction Act.
