Anthem cuts Cedars-Sinai, UCLA from city health plan
Los Angeles Business Journal

Citing high health care costs, Anthem Blue Cross will take Cedars-Sinai and UCLA doctors off a health plan offered to city employees and their dependents. Beginning Jan. 1, doctors affiliated with Cedars-Sinai and UCLA Health System will no longer be covered under Anthem’s Select health plans. The move will allow the city to save $7.6 million in annual premiums next year, the Los Angeles Times reported.
