Assistance to Hospital Personnel Affected by Recent U.S. Disasters
CHA encourages hospitals to contribute to The Care Fund

Hundreds of hospital personnel and their families in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee, and just this week Missouri, have been directly affected by flooding and tornadoes.

CHA joins the American Hospital Association, and other hospital associations in encouraging hospitals to assist hospital employees who experienced devastation and suffering from these disasters by contributing to The Care Fund.

The Care Fund was established to provide assistance to hospital employees who were devastated by Katrina. The Care Fund continues to assist hospital employees following disasters. All the funds will be distributed by hospitals in the affected areas to their employees who need assistance.

Contributions are tax deductible, and 100 percent of the money raised will go to hospital employees affected by the storms and flooding. Each contributor will receive an acknowledgement for tax purposes.

For more information or to contribute, go to and print a form for individual or group donations. Contributions may also be made via PayPal.

Checks should be made payable to The Care Fund and sent to:
