Health Policy Legislative Day
Advocating for patients and your hospitals

March 10 & 11, 2015
Sacramento, California

2015 may bring dramatic shifts in California’s Legislature, with 32 newly elected members and changing leadership in both houses. It is critical that California hospitals forge and strengthen relationships with elected representatives. The voice of California hospitals must be heard.

Plan now to join fellow hospital leaders in Sacramento for this vital advocacy program.

All program events will be held at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento.

After attendees register for the program, CHA’s advocacy staff will schedule appointments with members of the Legislature on their behalf — primarily group meetings with other hospital executives from their area. Scheduling will be coordinated with input from the Regional Associations. Hospital executives are asked not to schedule meetings directly with representatives.

Attendees who would like appointments with specific legislators other than their own may indicate their requests when registering. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests.

To facilitate the scheduling of appointments, members are strongly encouraged to register by February 13. The schedule of appointments will be emailed to all registrants one week prior to the program.

If you have any questions about the appointments or have other special requests, please contact your regional hospital association vice president or Patricia Ward at the CHA offices at or (916) 552-7526.

This program is for executives of CHA-member hospitals only and the deadline to register is February 13. To enable the scheduling of meetings with legislators, registrations received before the deadline are discounted.

Member rate, by Feb. 13: $235
Member rate, after Feb. 13: $335

A confirmation will be emailed to all registrants.
