Los Angeles Business Journal

The UCLA Health System held a dedication ceremony Sept. 9 for its new $572 million Santa Monica campus, marking the near-end of an extensive rebuilding project that began after the hospital was damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. The campus features the UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica; a branch of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA; the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital; and the UCLA Rape Treatment Center. The new buildings at 16th Street and Wilshire Boulevard will open to patients in early 2012.
