Supes tackle health care, contracts and ping pong

After failing to win support for his plan to close a perceived loophole in the city-mandated health care reimbursement accounts for uninsured employees earlier in the summer, Supervisor David Campos proposed revised legislation Tuesday. Currently, employers who participate in the program contribute up to $4,252 per uninsured employee annually into health care reimbursement accounts. Any unused money can go back into the employer’s pocket after a year.
