S.F. General moves on rebuild, jobs
San Francisco Business Times

San Francisco General Hospital is making progress on its $887 million 284-bed rebuild, with plans to pour concrete for the new tower’s foundation Sept. 9 to 10. In preparation for that milestone, workers have hauled away 120,000 cubic yards of dirt and dug a hole two stories deep, says Tristan Cook, spokesman for the San Francisco safety net hospital’s huge rebuild project. Things also look good on the job front.
