Blue Shield to start sending bill credits
Sacramento Bee

Blue Shield of California said Friday that it will start sending bill credits to customers next month as part of its previous pledge to limit net income to 2 percent of revenue.

Blue Shield said credits ranging from 10 per- cent to 30 percent of one month’s premium will appear on October’s bills.

The not-for-profit health plan said letters will be mailed to subscribers and group customers who are eligible to receive credits. The amount of a credit is based on dues/premiums in May this year.
