Senior Help Desk and Systems Analyst
Sacramento, CA

We are looking for an experienced, technologically savvy Senior Help Desk and Systems Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent desktop support both over the phone and in-person for our staff, configuring hardware, such as desktops, Laptops, BlackBerrys, iPhones, and printers; testing and evaluating hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.  Depending on your experience, you will be performing or assisting with: server support; troubleshooting and resolving software, operating system, and networking problems; scheduling, performing, and monitoring network backups and data recoveries, troubleshooting and resolving failures, and assisting with network maintenance. You should enjoy solving computer puzzles and working with other people in a small IT department where customer service is the primary skill.

The requirements for this position include:

• Associate degree or equivalent
• Microsoft, Cisco or A+ certifications preferred
• 4+ years experience with desktop support, help desk support using a CRM/Help Desk tracking ticket application
• Experience supporting Microsoft Server 2003/2008 environment
• Experience working with technology vendors and partners, including ISPs, phone system, software, and hardware vendors preferred
• Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2007, 2010
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with end-users in a relaxed, non-technical, non-threatening manner
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials in a professional manner
• Ability to organize, plan, work on multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines all under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a willing and effective CHA/CAHHS/Regional Associations team member
• Must have exceptional customer service skills and a pleasant and professional demeanor
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and travel overnight on an occasional basis
• Valid CA drivers’ license
