Project Director
Sacramento, CA

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our team.  The Project Director is responsible for managing California Hospital Association’s (CHA) Hospital Engagement Network initiatives, including but not limited to educational and collaborative programs and the successful implementation of the contract.  He or she will work closely with SVP/Chief Medical Officer and others as applicable to organize and implement multiple projects as mandated by the contract.

The Project Director also will collaborate with third parties to obtain and organize resources to be distributed to the CHA membership and assists the CHA staff in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the organization.

The requirements for this position include:

• Undergraduate degree
• 7+ years direct experience in project management
• Experience in patient safety, clinical performance improvement or outcomes measurement desirable.
• Project management and facilitation experience
• PMP Certification
• Ability to use all Microsoft Office software and have in-depth knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate proficiency with graphic design and database software
• Ability to set priorities and handle multiple, sometime competing, tasks and projects. ..
• Must be organized, analytical, and efficient with strong writing and verbal communications skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
• Must have strong customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care systems and legislative process is helpful.
• Service-oriented
• Experience in healthcare setting is a plus
