The California Hospital Association is the statewide leader representing the interests of hospitals, health systems, and other health care providers in California.  CHA includes nearly 400 hospital members and provides members with state and federal representation and advocacy in the legislative and regulatory arenas.

We are currently looking for an experienced administrative professional to provide support to our busy Education and Publishing Department. Our department provides education programs (conferences, one-day seminars and webinars) to hospital executives and publishes legal manuals. The position requires advanced computer skills including Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; excellent communication & customer service skills. This position works with a team of 8 employees. Duties are varied and include: producing event materials and formatting speaker’s PowerPoint presentations; creating and updating web pages and sending marketing emails; generating mailing lists; proofreading; processing continuing education certificates; creating and sending online surveys; tracking speaker information; formatting flyers and other marketing materials; processing registrations; and handling customer service calls. Experience with InDesign a plus.
