Digital Advocacy Manager

CHA is adding to its Digital Advocacy team. We have an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious professional with 4+ years’ experience in digital /social media. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in  new media, adept at developing digital content for multiple brands, and have legislative advocacy or other public policy experience.

CHA’s Digital Advocacy Manager will be responsible for assisting the Vice President and other senior executives in executing the association’s strategic digital advocacy programs.  This includes developing creative and high-impact content for public affairs, legislative affairs and consumer-focused campaigns. Requirements also include: working collaboratively with other content producers, working in cross-functional teams, developing social content that engages a variety of target audiences, and assisting in social community management.

CHA utilizes digital and social media to help advance the interests of hospitals and health systems in California, so health care industry experience is a plus.  Candidates must have a degree in journalism, public relations, multimedia communications, public policy, advertising or related field.  Excellent writing skills and a positive “can-do” attitude are a must.
