CHA Public Advocacy Program Launches ‘Caring Is Our Calling’ Patient-Safety Campaign

CHA’s Public Advocacy Program has launched its new patient-safety awareness campaign to showcase the great strides California hospitals are making in improving the quality of care for patients, their families and their communities. 


The cornerstone of this new educational campaign is a one-minute television commercial, which is available in English and Spanish. The English version can be viewed below. The commercial began airing statewide Oct. 6 on cable and broadcast networks. It will run throughout October, primarily on news and public affairs programming.

Campaign Overview

CHA’s integrated campaign also includes a public affairs program with a press release and four patient safety issue briefs highlighting hospital patient safety case studies, a video issue short featuring case studies, a branded website (, and social/digital media outreach efforts.
